This week has been REALLY busy because we are finishing first trimester’s project and some of the tasks were assigned this week and planned to finish them this week too.
In Database Management we have configured permissions to access the database, create databases as a non-administrator user, create tables and specific permissions on a table such as being able to insert but not being able to select.
In Operative System Management we have created daily tasks in ubuntu using crontab. We created user specific tasks (using crontab -e command) and all-user tasks editing /etc/crontab file.

In Security and High Availability, we finished our antivirus comparation and the encrypt-decrypt tasks. The last thing we need to do is sharing our public keys in a public key server, so we can use them in other computers.
In Web Application Deployment we are working on our web, it has sessions, permission checks and SQL queries to our MySQL database to show the right users the information they request. There are many helpful forums where we can check other people’s code so it’s not that hard, but the biggest problem is the time we are given.

This was the last week for the first trimester, so it was a very busy week for us.
With Ricardo we have been testing the services previously installed like DNS, DHCP, Apache and DNS. It was a demostration about our knowing in this subject.
Also we have been looking for a good antivirus for our system, selecting some and comparing each other to see the differences and choosing the right one.
On the Xabi´s hours we have been working on our web, trying to finish it and adding some new things like the session saving, permission checking and things related to MySQL database.
