In Database Management we are working with SQL Agent. We have multiple tasks to complete, for example, we have to create jobs, alerts and operators, then we have to link them in order to send notifications to operators whenever a job generates an alert because there was some kind of error and so on. It’s quite hard because we haven’t really seen any of these database objects and we can only follow internet tutorials.
In Operative System Management we are using these hours to continue with Database tasks.
In Internet and Network Services we finished our mail server and we are working on a video and audio streaming server. We also have an exam about mail servers today, hope it's not too hard!
In Security and High Availability, we have to create a High Availability system for our web servers. It’s kinda hard considering we know nothing about HA and we can’t ask for help, we can only follow internet information. We also have an exam tomorrow about VPN (Virtual Private Network) which looks quite long.
In Web Application Deployment we finished our first part of the challenge which was a PHP web site with a database in which we store product and user information. We had to finish it for 31st which kinda annoyed me because it’s holiday for everyone and Christmas is when we can spend time with our family but instead we have to do this task…
