THIRTEENTH WEEK

 ENDIKA SANCHEZ

In Database Management we have an exam next week. We are working with indexes now, it’s not hard but it gets tiring when you have much data. We worked with triggers before Christmas and we will have a couple of questions about them in the exam I guess, creating triggers is easy but the programming we have to do with them isn’t.

In Operative System Management we are configuring a CUPS printing server in Ubuntu 16.04. the configuration is pretty straightforward, we just have to add and share a printer through its web interface in our server.

In Internet and Network Services we are using the hours to work on other subjects.

In Security and High Availability, we are working with 4 servers to create a High Availability cluster. 2 of them are load balancers and proxies, while the other 2 are web servers and are configured behind the load balancers. It’s been really difficult to make them work because the configuration is confusing and requires programming, but I’ve finally finished it.
We also have an exam about streaming in 2 weeks.

In Web Application Deployment we started creating a web with Wordpress. While it seems easier than programming from scratch, if something fails good luck with the errors because it has thousands of configuration files and the coding is hard to understand with the knowledge we have.
